Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Lone Star Circle of Care is a dynamic, rapidly growing network of federally qualified health centers (FQHC) committed to providing quality healthcare services to medically underserved adults and children. We are currently seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to work with children and adolescents. Consider joining an established yet growing interdisciplinary team of behavioral health specialists including child, adolescent and adult psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, licensed professional counselors and other LCSWs. Opportunities also exist for integrating behavioral health services into medical clinics to maximize both modalities. The position is responsible for ensuring that the medically related emotional and social needs of our patients are met and maintained on an individual basis in accordance with policies and procedures, and current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Candidates must have experience and the commitment to work with children & adolescents as well as be able to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, staff, and support agencies. Opportunities also exist to collaborate in developing programs with other professionals, including primary care providers. Successful candidates are required to have a degree from an accredited graduate school, be licensed by the appropriate Texas State Board, and be American Heart Association Basic Certified Life Support certified (can be attained after hire but before start date).
